On December 20, 2010, Veronica Franco received a Court of Appeal decision in the case of The Owners, Strata Plan NW 971 v. Daniels, 2010 BCCA 584. Veronica represented the strata corporation and was successful in defending the appeal. This is the first decision that confirms that Roberts Rules of Order can be used in general meetings and more specifically to adjourn meetings to re-vote a failed resolution without having to call a new meeting with the requisite notice.
