In November 2012, the Honourable Marion J. Allan spoke at the Canadian Centre for Elder Law Conference. In a poignant anecdotal commentary on the state of healthcare, housing and guardianship policies for seniors, Allan gave a personal address about the final three months of her mother’s life.
