On May 31, 2012, Clark Wilson client Progressive Solutions Inc. and its US and UK subsidiaries were sold to Marlin Equity Partners. PSI’s business will be integrated into Marlin’s Solarsoft business unit. The CW team was led by Brock Smith and Pratibha Sharma, with valuable assistance from Bill Ruskin. The transaction involved a complex tax-driven structure and extensive negotiations with opposing counsel in Canada, the US and the UK.
